When Afomia and I first met to discuss the goals for her headshots, she mentioned that she never really saw her authentic self in her photos before.

We worked through my signature Authentic Moodboard process to uncover the true qualities and essence she wanted to see in herself and through that we came up with 3 words: Piercing, Smart & Playful.

Before our shoot we met to uncover anything that might get on the way of truly showing up authentically as herself in the shoot through my On Camera Coaching session.

After doing a deep transformational and healing session, we came up with a new affirmation and energetic vision for the shoot “I am not for everyone, I am for me”.

She carried this new identity into the shoot and it truly shows. But I’m gonna let her tell you in her own words:

“Imagine seeing your true self for the first time reflected in a headshot shoot. I’ve transformed so much internally this year and honestly, it’s felt like a rebirth. When I experience a glimpse of that new powerful self emerging, it’s become impossible to be satisfied with small way of showing up in the world I’d become used to. I wanted my images to reflect my evolution.

Shooting my Authentic Brand Photoshoot with @thelucias was the greatest gift to give my new self. The experience was so holistic and powerful, Lucia is an absolute dream. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to feel authentically represented in their photos. I felt so seen and I’m so proud to put these photos out into the world. I’m looking at myself with such kind eyes, truly loving myself for the first time and I can see it. 💕”
